Zoo

When we have nice weather we try to take full advantage of it. So a few weeks ago it was nice and I took the kids to the zoo. They loved it. Jon was able to meet us there too and enjoy the time as a family.Dallin loves the polar bear.
We had to ride the carousel twice so Elise could ride the pink one.
This baby llama was born while we were at the zoo.

The kids LOVE their daddy!!
Our front steps are somewhere under that snow. We got 15 inches in 12 hours!!!
See, they do love each other!
New Haircut. I love it! It is so much easier and I actually do my hair now instead of putting it up everyday!!
Ready for snow!
Elise doing her chores. Such a good girl.
Pregnant belly at 14 weeks. (I'm bigger now of course.)

Baby #3 is a.....

GIRL!!! We are so excited! It took 2 ultrasounds, but it was well worth it to see our sweet baby girl. Any good girl name suggestions? We are stumped!
This picture has a foot, elbow, and the baby's face off to the right with a little smile.

Big News!

Baby #3 is well on their way!!! I'm due on August 3rd (in the dead heat of the summer - thank goodness for swimming pools!) which makes me 15 week today. We are THRILLED to say the least! The kids are excited too.. although Dallin is much more anxious than Elise. We get to find out the gender next month... I feel so blessed that this pregnancy has been fairly uneventful so far and I have felt great. (This ultrasound is from my 10 week appt)

Happy Birthday Elise!!!

Can my baby really be 3?! It is true, Elise is 3 today!!
Elise talks pretty well (not as clear as Dallin did at this age). She does have to be translated on a few things like:
winkles = fingers
twos = shoes
Det-day = BirthdayElise LOVES milk, ice cream, yogurt, her hair bows, movies, soda, coloring, playing with her babies, sleep, and her brother. She can be the sweetest thing in one moment and the sassiest girl in the next. Sometime I feel like I have a teenager in a 3 year old body. She likes to sleep and if you disturb her sleep, she will get mad at you. Our time out spot has an impression of her bum from all the time she has spent there. She loves when Dallin goes to school and she gets to be the only child for 3 hours. She loves to help me do chores and cook but she mostly wants to do it herself. She is very independent. I just love this girl to pieces. She loves to cuddle with me and she always tells me that she loves me. It doesn't get sweeter than that!

For her birthday we had a very low key party with pizza, soda, and pink cupcakes with pink frosting (of course). She got rooms for her new doll house, a rose cottage house, and a new scooter. She was a very happy girl!

Christmas in DC

This year for Christmas we decided to go to Virginia/ DC for Christmas. It was actually a multi-purpose trip because we go to the temple with Jon's sister Katie for the first time too! That was really amazing to be there with so much of the Seeley family. We had such a great time sight seeing and staying up late with family. It was quite the drive though! 20 hours each way and because we are crazy parents we drove straight through! Our kids did AMAZING!!!

We went to the Museum of Natural History (the one from Night at the Museum) and saw dinosaurs, gems and the Hope diamond, bugs, and all sorts of animals. Then we took a 2 minute drive and went to the Air and Space museum. There wasn't as much for the kids but they still really enjoyed it.We stayed up late, shopped like crazy, and had a wonderful Christmas.Elise's new mommy made bows
And Dallin's Mommy made cape
I wish it could have lasted longer.
